Lamb Pumpkin and Caramelised Onion Pizza

Tantalising your taste buds with this yummy pizza

  • 1 medium pizza base
  • 4 half thinly sliced (6ml) of butternut pumpkin
  • Spray oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoon caramelised onion (jar)
  • 1 ½ tablespoon tomato pizza paste
  • 100g lamb steak, cooked and sliced
  • 80g-100g grated mozzarella or pizza cheese
  • Sprinkle of dried Italian herbs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • ½ cup or small handful of fresh baby rocket


  • Preheat oven 200º
  • Spay the pumpkin slices with oil and cook in oven for 10 minutes
  • Reduce the oven heat to 180º
  • Meanwhile cook the lamb steak
  • Combine tomato pizza paste and caramelised onion together and spread over the top of pizza base
  • Sprinkle the herbs over the top
  • Cut the pumpkin into wedges and scatter evenly over the pizza base
  • Top with the lamb slices and cheese
  • Cook in moderate oven for 8-10 minutes
  • Top with rocket and serve
