Hawaiian Kababs

Delicious and leaves you wanting more


  • 2 ham steaks
  • 1 cheek red capsicum
  • 1 cheek green capsicum
  • ¼ cup pineapple pieces
  • ¼ small brown onion
  • 3 cheese slices
  • 4 cherry tomatoes halved *Optional
  • 3 wooden skewers


  • Soak skewers in water to prevent burning
  • Cut ham, capsicum, onion and pineapple into good bite size pieces
  • Thread the ham, capsicum, onion and pineapple onto skewers, repeat pattern till all skewers are filled
  • Grill kababs for 2 minutes each side, turning to brown evenly
  • Place slices of cheese over the kababs and place under the grill till cheese melts

*You could also add cherry tomatoes if desired

Serve on a bed of lettuce
