Paleo Fish Tacos

Paleo Fish Tacos by cooking meals forgone

These are so delicious spicy and quick & easy to make

Ingredients

  • 1 fillet of white fish
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon thyme leaves
  • pinch chilli flakes
  • pinch lemon salt

Salad of choice

4 baby cos lettuce or iceberg

8 slices of avocado

4 cherry tomatoes, quartered

8 thinly slices red capsicum

8 cucumber wedges 

Mayo Dressing

2 teaspoons Mayonnaise

2 teaspoons lemon juice

Method

  • Cut the fish into four finger length pieces
  • Mix the cumin, smoked paprika, lemon thyme, chilli flakes and lemon salt together on a plate
  • Coat the fish fingers in the spice rub 
  • Panfry the fish in hot oil, turning to cook evenly, 3-6 minutes depending on thickness of the fish
  • Make the dressing by mixing the mayonnaise and lemon juice together 
  • Arrange the salad in each lettuce leaf and place the cooked fish fillet on top drizzle with lemon mayonnaise and serve
