Ingredients
- 1 strip of 6-8 pork ribs (not the fatty type)
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons plain flour
- 1 teaspoon oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic grated
- ¼ cup tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon plum sauce
- ½-1 teaspoon chilli powder (to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon mustard
- dash tabasco
Method
- Mix oyster sauce and soy sauce and rib into the ribs, cut ribs between the bones
- Sprinkle the plain flour over the ribs
- Marinate for 2 hours or overnight
Preheat oven 170º
- Heat oil in a small saucepan over low-medium heat, add garlic and cook 1-2 minutes
- Add the remaining ingredients to the saucepan and cook for 6-8 minutes, until sauce thickens
- Brush the sauce over the ribs and place in oven proof dish, then bake in oven for 25-30 minutes
- Serve with side salad or rice
