Delicious and leaves you wanting more
Ingredients
- 2 ham steaks
- 1 cheek red capsicum
- 1 cheek green capsicum
- ¼ cup pineapple pieces
- ¼ small brown onion
- 3 cheese slices
- 4 cherry tomatoes halved *Optional
- 3 wooden skewers
Method
- Soak skewers in water to prevent burning
- Cut ham, capsicum, onion and pineapple into good bite size pieces
- Thread the ham, capsicum, onion and pineapple onto skewers, repeat pattern till all skewers are filled
- Grill kababs for 2 minutes each side, turning to brown evenly
- Place slices of cheese over the kababs and place under the grill till cheese melts
*You could also add cherry tomatoes if desired
Serve on a bed of lettuce
