These Prawns are Crunchy – Tasty and Quick on the table in 10 Minutes

Ingredients
Honey garlic sauce

- 2 teaspoons honey
- 2 teaspoons Shaoxing rice wine
- ½ teaspoon grated garlic
- 1½ teaspoons soy sauce
- 6 medium green peeled prawns, tails on & deveined
- 1 teaspoon cornflour
- 2 teaspoons water
- ½ teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 egg yolk
- splash of sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
Method
- Combine the ingredients for the honey garlic sauce in a small bowl and set aside
- In a larger bowl mix the cornflour and water, then stir in remaining ingredients except oil
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or frying pan over medium-high heat and add the prawns, cook on both sides (1-2 minutes)
- Remove the prawns and drain on paper towel
- Wipe the pan clean with paper towel
- Add the honey garlic sauce mix to the pan, stir and heat to simmer for 1 minute
- Return the prawns to the pan and toss to coat with sauce and to reheat the prawns
- Serve and Enjoy!
