Another golden oldie that is both filling and yummy

Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon
- lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, sliced
- ½ avocado, sliced
- 2 slices sourdough bread
Method
- Cook bacon in a frying pan or under the grill until crisp and golden
- Butter the outside of each slice of bread
- Layer the lettuce leaves, tomato, avocado and bacon, onto the unbuttered side of bread
- Top with the remaining slice of bread
- Place the sandwich onto a toast press and gently lower the press, cook for approximately 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown
or
- Cook the sandwich in the frying pan, press the sandwich down as to cook the bread evenly, gently turn and cook the other side
