  • ⅔ cup chopped cooked chicken
  • ⅔ cup canned asparagus, chopped or 16 whole spears
  • 4 tablespoons canned creamy chicken soup
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • ½ spring onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped red capsicum
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • ¼ cup grated cheese
  • Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • Sweet or smoked paprika


  • Preheat oven 180ºc
  • Line the base of a small casserole dish with chopped chicken
  • Top with half the asparagus
  • Combine the sour cream, soup, spring onion, capsicum, salt and pepper. Pour over the chicken
  • Arrange the remaining asparagus on top of the mixture
  • Cover with the grated cheeses and dust with paprika
  • Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown 
  • Serve and enjoy
  • Note: You can make the remaining can of soup into a bowl of soup for one
