Ingredients

  • 1 x 125g can chickpeas
  • 2 teaspoons tahini
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • pinch ground cumin
  • 45ml lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • pinch cayenne pepper
  • pinch salt

Method

  • Rinse and drain chickpeas, reserve 1 tablespoon of liquid
  • Blend all ingredients in a food processor. If too thick add reserved liquid, a little at a time, blend to a smooth paste consistency
  • Place in a serving bowl
  • Serve with your favourite tapas selection
